Newborns

Here a simple pair of doll wings worked great.

Some days you have to go straight to the hospital at a moments notice.

It's a little Anne Getty's, but I almost always
bring flowers when I'm shooting a girl.

Mom and dad might be looking a little ragged in the first few weeks,
but despite the spit-up on their shirts,
their hands always make for a great shot!

Even in tight spaces like the delievery room, you can still make magic
... just switch to black and white.

This shot wasn't planned.
Mom was simply holding him waiting for me to get the next set ready...
it turned out to be our favorite shot of the entire shoot!

It originally spelled Sammuel,
but apparently he likes his nickname better already.

A different approach

It has been a long time since I've posted anything new on here... but I thought I'd share some of my newer photos. Lately I have been doing more paid jobs (families, babies, some modeling headshots). These are a great way to gain experience and a chance for more people to see my work via word of mouth and families sharing the photos on sites such as Facebook. Please enjoy!
